Association for Mormon Letters Events Calendar

The Association for Mormon Letters sponsors several annual events, such as the Writers Conference and Annual Meeting. We occasionally offer special events and lecture series.

In addition to AML-sponsored events, we also list significant events of interest to the Mormon literature community. If you have an event that you would like to have listed on the AML Calendar, please write to the AML.

2010 Annual Meeting

February 27, 2010

The Association for Mormon Letters' Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 27th in the Utah Valley University library. The theme of the Meeting is “One Eternal Round: Mormon Literature Past, Present, and Future.” We have presentations on topics relating to Mormon literature, film, and drama.

You will all want to attend this meeting whether you present or not, as we will be screening the first feature-length Mormon film, 1931's Corianton! This may be one of a very few chances folks get to see this film.

The AML annual meeting is free for AML members, Irreantum subscribers, and students (please bring student identification).

Registration starts at 8:00am and seating for Corianton will close at 9:00am.

There will be a luncheon at 1:00pm, after the screening of Corianton. Seating for the luncheon is limited so tickets should be ordered ahead of time.
