Association for Mormon Letters Events Calendar

The Association for Mormon Letters sponsors several annual events, such as the Writers Conference and Annual Meeting. We occasionally offer special events and lecture series.

In addition to AML-sponsored events, we also list significant events of interest to the Mormon literature community. If you have an event that you would like to have listed on the AML Calendar, please write to the AML.

2012 Annual Meeting Call for Papers

The Association for Mormon Letters' 2012 Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 21st at the Student Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. The theme of for this year's meeting is “Going Forth Into All the World: Mormon Literature in an International Church. ”

We welcome submissions on any topic relating to Mormon literature, film, or drama. We are particularly interested in papers (written in or translated into English) on literary accomplishments of Latter-day Saints or those writing about Latter-day Saints outside of the USA.

Please submit a short (2 to 3 paragraph) abstract of your paper proposal to Margaret Blair Young, margaret_young@byu.edu, on or before January 31, 2012.

Accepted papers in various panels should take no more than fifteen minutes to read.
